My journey in the optical world began as a student at Georgian College in Barrie, fueled by a passion for designing unique eyeglass frames. Despite the mass-produced eyewear industry's challenges, I gained invaluable experience working for several large optical companies nationwide. In 2018, an opportunity arose to acquire my own optical store at 1586 Bloor St West, a store with a rich history dating back to the 1970s. This was the pivotal moment that allowed me to fulfill my dream of designing my own frames.

Motivated by a desire to create something extraordinary and environmentally conscious, I focused on wood frames, prioritizing sustainability and quality. I dedicated myself to mastering the art of woodworking, CAD systems, and investing in a CNC machine, enabling me to craft stunning, bespoke wooden eyeglass frames with meticulous attention to detail.
